Two Zero One Zero

It's 2010 and it's been a while since I last updated my blog. So you might ask, what's new Liam? Not much, I just resigned from my previous job doing H.R. work and I'm raring to go back again to Technical Support, looking bright and optimistic in the coming new year, and by the way Happy New Year!

This is my year. The year of the Tiger! specifically I'm a Wood Tiger. Born in the year 1974 and I read an online article, from UsBridalGuide, that...

THE WOOD TIGER 1914 AND 1974

"Is more adaptable to working with others and therefore does not demonstrate the typical "take charge" attitude of other Tigers. The Wood element adds stability, giving him warmth of character that draws people in and makes the Tiger a popular person. They are not selfish creatures and will give their time, attention or possessions to anyone in need. These Tigers bring a solid practicality to any problem. They can control their urges to completely take over, letting others do the work. They must be aware of their slightly volatile tempers and short attention spans, and not let those characteristics get the best of them or cause them or their loved ones undue pain."

There are certain parts described for the Wood Tiger that is somehow true that I can relate and agree, however I would like to highlight those positive characteristics of a Wood Tiger and I will adapt and incorporate them to the positive values that I already believed in, somehow make them assimilate to my daily mantra's.

The year 2009 left a scar - that every Filipino bears it today, it is the uncertainties and hardships that we encounter due to mis-fortunes, mis-governance, and of course due to us, us being hard headed, stubborn, and having no discipline at all.

I believe it is high time for us to think, not just twice but as many times as we can - That change must come from within and that change must first start amongst us.

We are a battled scarred nation, we should learn from our previous mistakes and let the scars be the guiding lesson for us. Let us want !, let us do the change towards creating a positive and healthy Philippines - Lets all be a Tiger this Two Zero One Zero!

Product Review: Traffic Python (It's not the bug, it's Snake that bit Me! )

The highest converting traffic I've ever seen...

Traffic Python is a new site that says it guarantees more CONVERTING web visitors and online advertising with very little effort or cost. So I decided to put it to the test...

My first impression was the site looks professional and clean, with an attractive look and feel. It is easy to read and understand. Joining the site was easy and painless--they do offer 2 upgrade options but they are not required to gain the benefits. The Members Area is very well laid out and intuitive--I could figure out what to do after only a few minutes and was able to get up and running in less than 5 minutes.

Inside the site, you create links and ads--the links you simply enter any URL links you use into the generator and it transforms them into "Traffic Python" links. You create ads for anything you want to promote using the Traffic Python Ad Generator, which is very easy to use. You can create as many links and as many ads as you like. And they are organized in a logical way--links are displayed in the order you create them but also your 5 most recent links appear on the main page for quick reference. Also, since the link generator is the tool you'll use most, it is also right at the top of the main page when you login.

Very smart! After you've created at least 1 link and 1 ad you can start to generate traffic. Just use and promote the new Traffic Python link instead of the original source link you had. Every time the Traffic Python link is clicked, the page loads followed by a cool slide-up ad window at the bottom. It displays an ad PLUS an image with your affiliate link that goes back to Traffic Python. So if anyone clicks the Traffic Python image they see the site, and if they signup they become your referral. It's a great viral feature because you can build referrals without even trying to just by using the site.

Now every time the ad window displays (your Traffic Python links get clicked) you earn credits that get YOUR ad displayed in the ad windows when other members' links get clicked. So the more clicks, the more times your ads get displayed. And this works virally--meaning as you make referrals into Traffic Python (either by promoting it or just using it and visitors click the Traffic Python image on the ad window to join) you also earn ad credits on THEIR link clicks. And this works up to 5 levels deep. So you can create a massive amount of free ad views and web traffic by referring others to Traffic Python also.

I didn't get to test the full effect of a big downline yet (I just got the tool) but I can tell you the rest of the site works exactly as stated--my links got clicked, I earned credits, and my ads got displayed. Traffic Python even tracked my results so I know how many clicks and how many ad displays.

That was an impressive unadvertised extra feature. There is one more benefit and feature which might be the best of them all--downline emailing. You can email your downline with offers, promotions, or whatever you like, and here is where Traffic Python really shines. They took time to make the emailing often enough that it's valuable as a user, but no so often that it's a burden to your downline. But the best part about this feature (and actually the credit earning too) is that it tells you exactly how long until you can mail again. Now THAT's cool. Overall I have to say I am impressed with Traffic Python. It is simple yet powerful, and delivers on its promises. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to increase traffic and advertising. Hi,

I want you to take a look at : SALE - Food Cart With Bike - HOT ITEM

Here Goes... Hello World!

Oh C'Mon! - I think it's information overload for me - I did'nt know that it's hard to study Internet Marketing. Well, the Primary purpose of this Blog is to help me release whatever tension I have in life through writing - a form of release which I consider best for me, Second is to make a social effect - to affect others by promoting and encouraging them to participate in social helping activities, and Last the monetary side of the blog -

"The New Buzz Biz" - Internet Marketing.

I heard and read a lot of article about paid blogging, product marketing affliation via websites, paid to blogs and paid to post in business forums and such  and I'm considering my plans to attend the seminars of Jomar Hilario (the guy is a "persistent spammer with a sense" - he gets into my nerve in a "good way") - By the way check out Jomar Hilario's upcoming seminars:

  • CEBU:
  • MANILA:

I'm still skeptic and I know I still have a lot to learn, at the monet I'm still enjoying the exploration phase of Internet Marketing, however - once I get really confused, by then probably, just probably - I'll have Mr. Hilario come to my rescue.

Personal, Social, and Business? Hmmmm - I guess the balance starts by selecting my niche. The first rule I learn from being a first time - old time blogger is to find my niche, this is to give balance to the my interest and target my audience.

(1) For Personal - It's Technology and Food, (2) For Social Relevance - It's selecting an N.G.O. (Non Governmental Organization) that I will support, and (3) For Business - Blogs, Adsense, Affliates, and Auction Sites.

Wish me luck! - Starting from this day forward My Blog Site will be fulfilling the goals for the categories of my intrest - Personal, Social, and Business. Wish me luck!!

Yes, they call this food in some other country, "Escargot" but the Filipino version of this is "GATANG KUHOL" or Ginataang Kuhol (Snails cooked in Coconut Milk). Recently I had the chance to cook this dish because the Mother of a good friend of mine who recently had her vacation from working abroad and visited us here and she requested for this dish.

Since I was from Rizal and we really love cooking this dish, I have granted her wishes! - Off I go and cooked for her. And the result, base from their palates feedback?... - MAGNIFICO!!! With Out further due... Here is...

GATANG KOHOL RECIPE
ENJOY COOKING

Ingredients:
1 kilo of KUHOL
1 thumb-size piece of ginger, sliced thinly (not julienned)
1 head of garlic, crushed and chopped coarsely
1 onion, halved and sliced thinly
1-3 hot chili peppers
6 cups. of coconut cream
2 tbsp. of cooking oil
salt and pepper
You can also use dried gabi leaves or paco, depending on how your Lola likes her Veggies
Sliced leeks for garnish

Directions:
How to:

Soak the KUHOL for several hours - We call this pasuka - This is to purge the Kohol (snail) it's dirt. Change the water frequently. I like soaking it to vinegar and corsed salt before wahing the kuhol. Tap the tip of each shell with the side of a knife. Wash several times. Drain.

Cooking the Dish:
  • Heat the cooking oil in a skillet or wok. Saute the garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced onion and chili pepper.
  • Cook until transparent. Add the drained KUHOL and cook over high heat. The KUHOL will render water.
  • Cook until almost dry. Pour in the coconut cream (3 Cups).
  • Cook uncovered over medium-high heat, stirring occassionally, until almost dry.
  • Pour in the veggies (dried gabi leaves or paco)
  • Pour in the remaining coconut cream (3 Cups).
  • Cook uncovered over low-medium heat, stirring occassionally, until almost dry.
  • Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle sliced leeks on top before serving.

The Need to Release

Why am I writing? Possibly the need for a release - the coming expectations, the promises that were made, and I think I need a release other than T.V. The heart pours most if it's idle...

I did not go to work today, and I woke up 5:00 A.M. wondering if I should still go to work? - No! got to have a break and here I am now writing, pursuing something I do not know...

Welcome to my musings, welcome to my Nibble.. the half byte of my Life...
